Plot

Santhanam is a happy go lucky guy. He is the only son of VTV Ganesh. He helps his friend to marry a girl, who is supposed to be the sister of a popular don in Chennai. The don searches for his sister and when he comes to know she is married, his anger turned to the guy, who helped them in getting married. So, the gangster gang searches Santhanam. In between this, Bangalore don’s sister Vaibhavi does all the rowdyism in the college. She is the ragging leader. When she meets Santhanam, she teases him. But, he falls for her. In a situation, Vaibhavi has been targeted by some gangsters and she seeks help from the Chennai don. What is the relationship between Vaibhavi and the Chennai don? Who is trying to kill her? What happens to Santhanam? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

As the film is full of the comedy stars, Santhanam minimized his comedy track and concentrated on heroism. Vivek overtakes all the comedians and impresses the audiences. Vaibhavi has nothing big to perform and she is a template heroine.

Analysis

Sethuraman has designed the scenes well for Santhanam to become an action hero. Santhanam has started traveling in a new route and this might work out for him slowly. Certain scenes seem to be left in half the way. The director should correct those things. Similarly, they showed Santhanam as a cop. Is he the real cop or a reel one? The director didn’t explain it.

Suspense closes at the beginning of the second half and the rest of the scenes are easily predicted

Verdict

Sakka Podu Podu Raja is a good comedy track with Santhanam’s heroism. If Santhanam started minimizing his comedy dialogues and concentrates more on the action, he would become an action hero. Sivakarthikeyan has just started doing that. We hope Santhanam will follow it.
