Our actions are not restricted to ourselves; they have an influence on the lives of others too. With such a theme, the movie Vil Ambu proceeds. Well, let’s go deeper and find what the movie is all about.
Harish Kalyan and Sri are brought up in dissimilar upbringings and live in the same area. Harish Kalyan’s father, just as most of the middle-class fathers, wants his son to be pragmatic and earn a living through the monotonous 9 to 5 career. He also wants his son to be a good person. As against his father’s wishes, Harish is interested in photography. Sri is brought up in a poor household (he has a drunkard dad) and becomes a small-time thief. Harish and Sri never see each other but happen to have an impact on each other’s lives. What is the impact? Watch the movie to know.
Harish’s character is such that the youngsters of current generation can relate to each other. And he has done full justice to his role. Sri has given an equally effective performance. In fact, the acting of these two promising actors is the major highlight of the movie. There is some rib-tickling laughter in the movie, thanks to Yogi Babu.
Ramesh Subramanian, who has debuted with this film, emerges a winner in maintaining the suspense of the movie till the end. Also, he showcases the shortcomings in both the families in a convincing manner.
