Achari America Yatra is the comedy entertainer scripted and directed by “ G Nageswara Reddy.” The film is produced by Kirthi Chowdary and Kittu. “S. Thaman” composed the music and “R Siddharth” cranked the camera. MR Varma edited the film. Manchu Vishnu, Pragya Jaiswal, Pradeep Rawat, Thakur Anoop Singh, “ Brahmanandam,” Posani Krishna Murali, Surekha Vani and Kota Srinivasa Rao are in the star cast.

Achari and his people were doing a pooja. During that pooja, they had a fight with a rowdy gang. After the tussle, they feared that the rowdy gang might kill them. So, Achari and his gang escape to the US. After going to America, the Pundits in Achari team come to know that Achari planned it purposely and took them to the US. Who is in the US? Why Achari planned the trip? To know the reason, watch the film on the silver screen.

Star Performance

Vishnu has done his part well. Brahmanandam has done his job perfectly as usual. Pragya Jaiswal has performed her role decently. Similarly, Kota Srinivas’ role is a surprising one and he had done his best.

The film scripted and directed by Nageswara Reddy is not new to Tollywood. Similarly, the jokes are also not new. Except for the chemistry between Vishnu and Brahmanandam, there is nothing impressive. After a long, we could see Brahmandandam in a full-length role. Star cast is fine and everyone has done the role assigned to them. Technical values of the film are good. If the jokes are trendy, then it would have impressed the audiences.

What’s There?

  • Vishnu and Brahmi’s chemistry has worked out well
  • Music by Thaman is good and the BGM gels with the script

What’s Not There?

  • A song in the second half seems to be purposely inserted and it affects the flow
  • The narration is not impressive
  • Old comedy irritates

Although the film has good music and the chemistry between Vishnu and Brahmi, it is like the old wine in new bottle. The director should have concentrated more in the screenplay and the latest comedy would have impressed the audiences.
