Star Performance

Mohan Babu has performed well, as usual. He does the emotional scenes with ease. His villainy performance as Gayatri Patel is interesting. Shriya and Vishnu have done their part pretty well. Vishnu has done the younger version of Mohan Babu and Shriya pairs him. Nikhila Vimal has performed naturally. Others have done justice to the given roles.

Analysis

Madan Ramigami has come with a different story. He has designed Mohan Babu’s role well and gave him a right space to emote well. Mohan Babu has differentiated himself in two different roles. The production values are good. Father and daughter relationship is shown neatly with a different script. Shriya Saran and Vishnu's roles should have been extended.

What’s There?

  • Mohan Babu’s performance is good in both the roles
  • Shriya’s emotional performance impresses
  • Thaman’s music attracts

What’s Not There?

  • Some scenes are lengthy and bore the audiences
  • The flashback scenes are rushed up
  • Screenplay should have been better

Verdict

Gayatri is a good entertainer with lots of twists and suspense. Although they have come in less screen time, Shriya and Vishnu impress us with their mesmerizing performances. After analyzing all the plus points and the minus points, we could say that with Mohan Babu’s eminent performance, Gayatri is a one time watch!
