Plot

Siddharth is a short-tempered man and he is married to Anjali. Siddharth’s nature makes Anjali feel embarrassed many times. She requests him to change his character. In a particular situation, Siddharth’s actions angered Anjali and she decided to go to her parents. Siddharth offers her that he will leave her at her parents’ home. While they are on the way, they stop the car by a roadside eatery. After eating, they search for money but finds missing. Siddharth said that he would get money from ATM. But, the eatery owner says that he has to leave his wife there, as they might escape without paying. But, Siddharth feels that it is not safe to leave her and decided to send her to the ATM center. Anjali drives the car and couldn’t find any ATM. Meanwhile, a suspicious person from the eatery follows her in a truck. Anjali’s car stuck in the mud and the suspicious person tries to misbehave with Anjali by breaking the window glasses. What happens next? Who came to Anjali’s rescue? Watch the thriller in theaters!

Star Performance
Dulquer Salmaan has played the role of an angry young man and he is perfect with his timings. Sai has done justice to her role and her expressions are very cute. Other supporting stars have done their roles perfectly.

Analysis

The script by Sameer is good and he has executed it well. However, the film has less romance and more anger. Sameer has not given importance to comedy and other commercial items that might not go well with the Telugu audiences.

What’s There?

Excellent chemistry between Sai and Salmaan
Performance of Sai, especially in the climax sequence
Cinematography and the music are compelling

What’s Not There?

Slow narration, which doesn’t suit the Telugu style

Verdict

The film with the simple message how a short-tempered guy lands in trouble due to his nature attracts the audiences. Hey Pillagada is thrilling and sensitive! Watch the film in theatres and you will not be disappointed.
