Many movies have been released of late with age-old stories but what captivates the attention of the audience is that whether they have been executed well. Paakashala is a recent addition to the list of age-old stories. Does this movie have all the elements to be a winner? Read more to find out.
Plot
A police officer has an accomplished career; he has won many difficult cases but ultimately gives up hope in a particular case. Therefore, he is on the verge of giving up that tough case. When he is nearing his retirement, he offers the case to one of his reliable police assistants. This assistant is being suspended at that juncture. How this suspended officer tackles the case forms the rest of the story. Well, kitchen and cannibalism have a significant part in this movie.
Star Performances
Thrillers become realistic when the actors and actresses are relatively new faces. In Paakashala, the actors and actresses are quite new. Hareesh Chakra Sathish, though has done a fair job, could have worked on his dialogue delivery.

Analysis
This film is produced in a not-so-big budget. In spite of choosing a different concept, director Phani Kiran Sirik fails in the execution part.

The first half is the major plus of the film.

The movie goes at a slow pace.
The second half could have been crafted better.
The movie is in predictable lines.
