Rangasthalam” is the period movie scripted and directed by “ Sukumar.” Mythri Movie Makers produced the film and Konidela Productions distributed it. Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni play the lead roles. “ Aadhi,” Prakash Raj, Jagapati Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Amit Sharma, “ Naresh,” “ Rohini,” “ Brahmaji,” Rajesh Diwakar and Gautami Tadimalla are in the star cast. Pooja Hegde plays in an item number. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the BGM. “ R Rathnavelu” cranked the camera and Naveen Nooli is the editor.

Plot

Rangasthalam has a Village President, who exploits the entire village. Chitti Babu is a happy go lucky guy with his own flaws. He has an elder brother Kumar. Kumar is angry at the village President and starts raising his voice against him. Meanwhile, Chitti falls for Lakshmi and enjoying his romantic life with her. As Kumar is against the President, he has to face serious consequences. On seeing this, Chitti decides to help his brother and also to save the people from the ruthless President. How did he do? What all the consequences he had to face? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Ram Charan plays a person with hearing disabilities and he has given a life to the role. It is the first time he does a rural guy. Samantha plays the village girl Lakshmi and has given a matured performance. Jagapati Babu and Aadhi played their roles neatly. Special mention to Anasuya, who has given a top class performance!

Analysis

Sukumar has brought a good script for Ram Charan. If the audiences appreciate Ram Charan for his performance, then the full credit goes to Sukumar, who have carved the role, Chitti Babu, perfectly. The casting is superb and the technical values in the film get full marks.
