Yuddham Sharanam is an action movie scripted and directed by Krishna Marimuthu and dialogues are written by Abburi Ravi. The story is by David R. Nathan. Music is by Vivek Sagar and cinematography is neatly handled by Niketh Bommireddy. Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram produced the film. The film features Naga Chaitanya and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. “ Revathi,” Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Meka Srikanth are in the supporting cast.
The film sketches the moments of a bomb blast in a city and how the hero Arjun searches his parents. The police take up the assignment to go deep into the bomb blast and nab the Don who has masterminded the blast. How does Arjun find himself in the whole situation is the main theme of the story. Did Arjun find out his parents? Watch the exciting film on the silver screen to know the rest of the story.
Naga Chaitanya has handled the role with maturity. He balanced his image of the doting son and an angry young man. Revathi and Rao Ramesh as parents of Naga and their roles are just a cake walk for them. Lavanya Tripathi impresses with her pretty look, but she has no specific role to do. Srikanth’s role as a Don is powerful, but the script does not stretch his character as expected. However, he has played it well.
Krishna has scripted the story well. The first half of the movie is fresh as a family drama where Revathy and Rao Ramesh bond with Chaitanya. But in the second half, the drama switches to action. Here the actor transforms his image into an action hero. With little loopholes in the drama and text of the film, the film can be indeed touted as the best action movie of Naga Chaitanya.
What’s Not There?
Go and watch the movie if you are a die-hard fan of Naga Chaitanya. The film is not at all disappointing and might prove to be a treat for masses.
