Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 is the long awaited sequel, to the first movie. It is an animated sci-fi action feature based on a book of the same title. Cody Cameron directed the sequel and many of the lead voice actors reprised their role. It picks off from the end of the other film with the introduction of a new main character, Chester V. Chester V is the founder of Live Corp and is also Flint’s childhood hero. He is an amazing inventor who has agreed to clean the mess caused by Flint’s FLDSMDFR. He helps Flint and his friends, along with the rest of the town, to relocate to the city of San Franjose, California.
Chester also offers Flint, a job in his company. Despite all the goody-goody acts he does, underneath it all, he has a nefarious plan in motion. The movie follows Flint and his friends as they try to find a way to solve the problem caused by the hybrid food animals. Chester tasks Flint with finding a solution to bring down the FLDSMDFR once and for all. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 does not meet the standards of its previous film. Flint’s quirky and eccentric behavior was the highlight of the original movie which is lacking in this one. He becomes more concerned with how Chester views him that he gives up his true identity. His character fades into the background as it lacks depth and whimsy. The movie has great animation and graphic design. T
he food animal depictions are fantastic, and they have creative names such as the ‘tacodiles’, ‘cheespiders’ and much more. The best characters in the film are the adorable strawberry named Barry and, to everyone's surprise, Flint’s dad. The film is an overload of cuteness and radiant colors and designs. The entire plot lies in the artwork and scenery than in developing the story line, and that is the only drawback of this feature. It is a family-friendly entertainment that will keep the children happy and entertained.
