The D Train Train Teasers, Trailers & Video Songs
The D-Train is a drama/comedy film starring Jack Black and James Marsden in the lead roles. The movie is about a 20-year high school reunion and the events leading up to it and the aftermath. The film gives us a new perspective on how men struggle with their masculinity and the molds society thrusts upon them. Jack Black, who plays the role of Dan Landsman, sets out to convince his well-known friend from school to attend the reunion in hopes of getting others to follow.
The meeting did not go to plan. As seen in the trailer, both of them are high and intoxicated, and the kiss most probably ends with them hooking up. The trailer teaser gives us an intriguing clip without giving away the tone of the film. The movie is about a friendship between two guys with an inevitable ending. It received mixed reviews. Some believed the screenplay to be hilarious while others remain unimpressed.
Though the film is not a typical comedy with lots of chuckle-worthy moments, the essence of the it lies in the confusing emotions experienced by the characters. It gives the viewers a glimpse into the struggles faced by a person who questions their sexuality and cracks under the pressure of maintaining a facade.
