The Drop Teasers, Trailers & Video Songs
The Drop is a crime thriller based on the story ‘Animal Rescue’ by Dennis Lehane. The movie stars an incredible cast including Tom Hardy, James Gandolfini, Noomi Rapace, and Matthias Schoenaerts. The Drop was the final feature performed by the late James Gandolfini, who died of a heart attack in 2013 before this film’s release. The trailer is a clip from the movie where Bob, played by Tom Hardy, finds a garbage bag filled with cut up pieces of money drenched in blood.
Marv is not at all eager to see the contents of the bag which he is sure to hold something nasty. The video even though it provides us with no clue about its plot keeps us guessing the rest of the story. The clip creates a suspense which makes us want to see the whole of the picture to piece together the truth. The movie’s reviews are quite positive and are noteworthy for the talented cast, the gripping screenplay, and the ever-present suspense. The film has a surplus of dark and twisted characters and is a fresh take on thriller features without being generic.
