The Hundred Foot Journey Trailers,Teasers, Videos & Songs

The Hundred-Foot Journey is a drama/comedy film based on a novel of the same name written by Richard C. Morais. The story revolves around the food feud between two restaurants of differing cuisines and the spectacle that follows. The hundred foot journey is a literal connection to the hundred foot divide between the two cultures. The trailer opens with the sounds of ‘Rang de Basanti’ playing in the background as an Indian family set up the decorations for the opening of their restaurant. Across the street, however, is Madame Mallory, played by Helen Mirren, trying to undermine the success of the restaurant. The producers, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey, speak about the movie, the plot, and the characters involved.

The story takes a turn as Kadam’s son Hassan, played by Manish Dayal, wishes to apprentice under Madame Mallory. The movie has loads of drama, comedy, and love. It is a story of acceptance of change. The film is easy to watch and is something that the whole family will enjoy. It is light-hearted in its representation of the characters without too much unnecessary drama. The actors’ performance is heartfelt and spectacularly done, and that is what gives the movie its vibrancy and liveliness.
