The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty Teasers, Trailers, Video & Songs
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is the second film adaptation of the short story of the same name by James Thurber. The movie is an adventure comedy based on the life of one Walter Mitty, a socially awkward guy with a highly imaginative mind. Ben Stiller plays the part of Walter and, unlike his usual witty and hilarious roles, this one is more about self-reflection and adventuring out into the unknown.
The trailer starts off with a quiet, and mundane life of Walter Mitty. The soundtrack of ‘Dirty Paws’ is a complementary background to the first half of the trailer that shows his over active imagination that he uses to compensate his shy nature. The clips help to convey the message without giving away the whole story. The second half of the trailer takes off into his non-fictional adventure with the tune of ‘Step Out’ providing the necessary lift to his incredible globe-trotting journey. The pleasant amalgamation of the two songs along with the stunning scenery is effectual in depicting the story of Walter Mitty.
The cinematography is exceptional, and the locations are breathtaking. The performance by the actors, especially Ben Stiller’s rendition of Walter Mitty, is phenomenal. The movie received several nominations and won the Outstanding Location Feature Film Award. It is a feel-good feature that will energize everyone to step outside to conquer the next great adventure rather than to sit in waiting for it.
