Bodyguard Teasers, Trailers, Video & Songs

Bodyguard is a 2011 Bollywood action thriller starring Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan as lead characters. Siddique directed the movie and is a transform of Malayalam film by the same name, which released in the year 2010. The film was produced by Salman’s relatives Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Atul Agnihotri. It also stars Hazel Keech, who provides the big twist in the end, apart from Mahesh Manjrekar and Raj Babbar in supporting roles.

The dashing Lovely Singh (enacted by Salman Khan) is assigned duty as the chirpy Divya's (played by Kareena Kapoor) personal bodyguard to keep her safe from goons who hound her to extract vengeance on her father, who is a well-meaning and dedicated politician. The movie is filled with all the generic ingredients like action, comedy, emotion, song romance and dance that have become characteristic of Bollywood. Divya feels cramped at having Lovely shadowing her while in college, so she decides to prank-call him. Pretending to be a girl named Chaya, and with a motive to distract him, she plots to convince him that she is in love with him. Though unknowingly, Divya truly falls in love with Lovely, who in turn falls in love with Chayya.

The story spins off beautifully as Lovely lays his life on the countless times, to protect his beloved. The trailer gives a sneak peek into all the drama and fights that the movie boasts. The cinematography for this action thriller was handled by Sejal Shah. The highly ‘mass-centred’ songs are by Himesh Reshammiya. The very popular song ‘I love you’ in the movie displayed Pritam’s prowess, while the background score is by Sandeep Shridokar. The movie re-established Salman Khan as the Macho-man of Bollywood.
