Vijay Prakash is an Indian playback singer and film composer. He was born in Mysore and moved to Mumbai in 1996. He worked in so many Hindi films including Blue, Yuvraaj, Swades, Kaal, Lakshya, Matrubhoomi, Tere Naam, Cheeni Kum, Raavan, and Force.
He has sung in Kannada, Tamil, Telegu and Malayalam movies. He has also hosted the renowned reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Kannada and has also performed in shows with the great Indian percussionist Ustad Zakir Hussain. Prakash is one of the four singers of the song ‘Jai Ho’, which won the 2008 Academy Award for Best Original Song.
The song also won a Grammy Award in the category ‘Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media’. He contributed to the high pitch portion of the song. Prakash has owned the very prestigious ‘Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer-Kannada’ for the song ‘Gatiya Lidu’ from the Kannada film ‘Ulidavaru Kandante’. In search for a career in the film industry, he shifted to Mumbai and became a student of prominent singer Suresh Wadkar. Prakash was a participant in the program ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’ on Zee TV, hosted by the widely popular Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam in 1999.
He made it to the Mega finals of the contest. He got his first break in Hindi Cinema with Karishma Kapoor starrer Baaz in 2002, and his first song for A.R. Rahman was in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Swades followed by the same composer’s Tamil title track for the movie ‘New.' His song ‘Kavite’ in the Kannada movie Gaalipata became very popular. He has done backing vocals for 25 foreign films including in Chinese.
He has worked for the BBC world also. Prakash became a regular singer for world-famous music composer A.R Rahman in 2010. He debuted as a music composer for the 2013 Kannada film ‘Andar Bahar’.
Vijay Yesudas (Born: 23rd March, 1979) is an Indian classical musician and playback singer from Chennai. He is known for his work predominantly in the south Indian film Industry, especially Malayalam, and Tamil films as well as in other Indian Languages such as Telegu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Vijay is the son of prominent singer K.J. Yesudas and the grandson of stage singer Augustine Joseph. His mother’s name is Prabha, and he is the second son of the family. He studied in Chennai until the 9th grade and moved to the US for further studies. He graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A in Music.
Vijay Yesudas started learning Carnatic music in early 2000. He is popular for his songs with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja in Tamil Cinema. He has worked with various composers including Dakshinamoorthy Swami, Ilaiyaraja, A.R Rahman, Raveendran, Hamsalekha, Deva Ouseppachan, Vidyasagar, Manu Sarma, Keeravani and Mohan Sitara, along with new generation composers such as Karthik Raja, M. Jayachandran, Sabesh Murali, Harris Jayaraj and Deepak Dev.
Vijay is a popular singer in Tamil and Malayalam. He made his debut as a singer in the Malayalam film Millenium Stars (2000). As of today, he has sung about 178 Malayalam and 118 Tamil songs. In the year 2002, Yesudas met Dharshana at a Valentines Day music concert in Dubai. They got married in 2007. They have a daughter named Ameya.
Sadhana Sargam is a playback singer of Indian cinema who predominantly now sings in South Indian and Bengali films. She debuted in Bollywood as a singer and has done playback singing in many Hindi films. She had initial training under her mother Neela Ghanekar, who was a classical singer too. Born as Sadhana Ghanekar in Mumbai on March 7, 1974, she changed her name to Sadhana Sargam on advice given by Kalyanji Anandji, who had promoted her singing career.
Before starting her first playback chance in Tamil film, she had the privilege of singing along with other playback singers such as Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal, and Kavita Krishnamurthy. Sadhana has sung in many Indian languages for films, TV series and music albums. The singer remains grateful to the maestro for giving her chance to sing such a beautiful melodious song. Some of her melodious Tamil songs are "Amma Un Pillai", Sutri Varum Bhoomi, and En Nenjil. She also had a privilege of doing playback singing for AR Rahman for films like Water, where she had sung three melodious songs (Aayo Re Sakhi, Piya Ho, and Naina Neer).
Besides the song Saat Samundar, she is also quite famous for songs such as Neele Neele Ambar Par( Kalakar), Pehla Nasha( Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander), Tere Umeed Tera Inerzar (Deewana, O Palanhare Lagaan), Ahista Ahista (Swades) and many more. This versatile playback singer had sung a song with Kishore Kumar, Bappi Lahiri, R D Burman and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
She is one of the few Indian musicians who could surpass the expectations in her renditions of songs of A R Rahaman and that is why she became the most popular singer in Tamil cinema giving playback for Vidyasagar and IIlayaraja. She has songs over 15,000 songs in all Indian languages.

In the year 2014, he commuted from small screen to big screen as a second Hero through the film Vanavarayan Vallavarayan along with Actor Krishna, who is the brother of Director Vishnuvardhan. Ma Ka Pa Anand got married to Susan, an Anglo-Indian. The couple has a six-year-old daughter named Anielialekha and a ten-month-old son named Lorenzo. This upcoming Actor’s to-be-released films are Panjumittai, Navarasa Thilagam, Deepavali Thupakki and Atti. Ma Ka Pa is playing the lead in all the four movies that are scheduled to be released in March of 2016.
