English Movie Actor Sam Claflin

Samuel George Sam Claflin is a British film and TV actor. He was born in Ipswich (a large town in Suffolk), England to Mark J. Claflin and Susan A. (Clarke). Mark was a finance officer and his mother Susan, a classroom assistant. As a kid, Sam was a die-hard football fan and often used to see his favorite team, Norwich City, playing. He was good at the game and played at the city level for Norwich schools and also played at the Norfolk county level. But, while playing the game, he broke his ankles and this made him think that he won’t be able to play professionally now. Thus, at 16, he gave up the thought of pursuing football as a career. Claflin was the member of School of Excellence for Norwich City Football Club (FC). During his education at Costessey High School, he performed in play. A teacher was impressed with his performance and he, together with Sam’s parents, persuaded Sam to take up acting professionally. He chose Performing Arts in 2003 at Norwich City College. Soon after that, he went for graduation at London Academy (LAMDA) of Music and Dramatic Art. He graduated in the year 2009. Sam has two elder brothers, Daniel and Benjamin, and a younger brother Joseph. Joseph is also an actor. Sam has performed in theatricals like Tommy, The Man of Mode, Love Is, and As You Like It. Claflin made his debut in The Pillars of the Earth TV series in the year 2010 as Richard. During the same year, he acted as young Logan Mountstuart in Any Human Heart TV series. In 2011, he grabbed a role of Thomas in the film adaptation of the book, The Spook’s Apprentice.

But, he was later dropped from the movie for the reasons that remain unknown. His other Television projects were The Lost Future (20l10), United (2011), White Heat (2012), and Mary and Martha in 2013. He portrayed the character of Kaleb, Duncan Edwards, Young Jack Walsh, and Ben in the above movies respectively.
