It shows how when a person is in love or has found his true love, how he changes his behaviour towards family and friends. This change can be for the better or worse, and this serial shows us that it will be for the better. When you are in love, it doesn't matter that whether the person is rich or poor, you are in love with him and not his wealth, and that is the most important thing in the world. Anokhi Tilak Mehra is a girl who belongs to a middle-class family in Chandni Chowk, New Delhi. All her life she has dreamt that she will marry a wealthy man, and his wealth will be the source of happiness for her.

She receives a job offer as an accountant in the house of the wealthy Mallick family. While working there, she sees the handsome Tushar Mallick and immediately falls in love with him. At this point, she thinks she is in love with because of his wealth. In the following episodes, she tries her best to impress the Mallick family, especially Tushar. It is through this that she learns the meaning of living marriage and love. Later is showed that Nikita Mallick is not his biological mother. Nikita has always hated Tushar, but Anokhi isn't aware of it.

His biological mother is working as a maid in the Mallick house, but she was perceived to be the daughter in law. Anokhi finds out about it, and she immediately informs Tushar. This is a classic Hindi TV show, where two people are in love, but circumstances try to tear them apart, and they go through all odds to be with each other.
