Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka is an Indian melodramatic and sentimental television serial that was telecasted on Sony TV in Hindi during the period of 1999 to 2002. It is one of the longest running Hindi TV serial of all times. It has the record of being the first Indian TV serial to reach the milestone of one thousand episodes.

The serial shows the life of a business tycoon of Gujarat, named Purushottam Nanavati. Purushottam lives in a joint family with his four sons and he is the head of the family. All the four sons, Sanat Nanavati, Shekhar Nanavati, Sameer Nanavati and Abhay Nanavati, were married. The story mainly focuses on the trials and sufferings that a joint family has to face. This can be due to the separation of different family members or may be due to their reunion. The series also shows how the family copes with these difficulties.

The lead role of Purushottam Nanavati was played by Ajit Vachhani. Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka was directed by Vipul Shah. It was a daily series that was aired on Monday to Friday in the afternoon and in the morning 8.30 am. This serial is one of the most liked and most popular serial of its times. The series was also telecasted in Gujarati language on ETV Gujarati and it was named Sapna Na Vavetar in Gujarati.
