Alefia Kapadia is a popular TV serial actress who became renowned with the serial, “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara” as Latika Bafna and on Hindi drama series, “Just Mohabbat” as Jai’s Sister. She is a simple lady and she likes to spend time at home with her family instead of going out to parties. She loves Chinese food and likes to wear dresses in all kinds of events.
She acted in few TV serials, short films and then she got married to Premnawaz Dharamraj. After acting in few more serials, she was moved to Dubai along with her husband. She stayed there for eight years and returned back to India afterwards. Alefia’s husband was allegedly beating her for many reasons. She asked some help from the Indian Embassy to get her passport from her husband and finally returned to India. She was not able to bear the torture she got from her husband, so she moved from Dubai to Mumbai and stayed with her 4-year old son and 10-year old daughter.
After returning from Dubai, she still faced some situations where her kids opposed her. Since her husband keeps on torturing her to give the kids under his custody, she lodged a police complaint against him to protect her kids. When she returned from Dubai, “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara” was her first serial and she was so happy with her character since she was looking for a different type of role. This was the serial where she has put 100% of her efforts to prove herself and boost up her confidence. She is strictly against male aggression, verbal and physical abuse since she underwent through the same situation for over 12 years with her abusive husband.
Alefia also faced another such instance when a motorist harassed her while she’s on the road and chased her car. This bold lady took snaps of the plate number and then lodged a police complaint against the motorist. She made him sit behind the bars finally.
