Kamrup Ki Kahani is a TV drama aired on DD National in the 90s. Kamrup Ki Kahani is based on the book penned by Indira Goswami, The Moth Eaten Howdah of the Tusker. Ruma Ghosh directed the serial. The story deals with the social issues in Kamrup in the mid of 20th century. The story is about Giribaala, a young widow from the Assamese Brahmin family, who lives in Palashbari in Kamrup.
