Monica Mogre –Case files was a crime thriller show that aired on Indian entertainment channel Zee TV from January 10, 2009-March 21, 2009. It was produced by Yash Patnaik of beyond dreams productions house. The show consists of total 17 episodes with a runtime of approximately 52 minutes. Monica Mogre case files aired every Saturday and Sunday from 830 pm IST onwards.
The plot of this series revolved around a young police inspector Monica Mogre who captures dangerous and deadly criminals sometimes endangering her own life for the sake of public safety. She is also a doting, responsible daughter and pride of her parents who wants her to get married and settle down but her marriage proposals mostly get rejected for the fact that she is a police inspector. Monica is also great dear and lovable friend. The uniqueness of this show laid in the fact that in each short criminal story a popular television or Hindi film actor essayed the role of the deadly villain. Each case story usually lasted for 10 to 12 episodes.
