The King Eternal Monarch is a 2020 romantic fantasy K-drama on Netflix. The series is written by Kim Eun-Sook and directed by Baek Sang-Hoon Jung Ji-Hyun and Yoo Je-Won. This series revolves around King Lee Gon, the modern age emperor who governs the Kingdom of Korea as its kindly leader. Lee Gon is haunted by the incident that happened when he was a child and the mystery behind the badge left by his savior. The badge he held was issued on November 11, 2019, for Lieutenant Jeong Tae-Eul.
In the Kingdom of Korea, King Lee Gon chases a rabbit with a clock. King Lee Gon has a feeling that the person dressed like a rabbit could be his mysterious savior from 25 years ago. King Lee Gon ascends his horse Maximus and goes into the forest. As soon as he crosses over from the Kingdom of Korea into the parallel world of the Republic of Korea.
