Horlicks Cookery Queen is a Telugu cookery show broadcast on the ZEE Telugu channel. Some of the dishes the chef makes are truffle sundae, fruit punch drink, and Horlicks Pancake. In all the dishes there is the use of the Horlicks powder. The participants of this show are all women who have to see the chef of this show make the dish and make it in the best way possible. The chef provides the names of all the ingredients, gives the quantity so that the participants can make it accurately. There are three rounds in total. After the first round, the top ten participants are called by their names and they are given their place, on-stage where they have to stand and prepare their dishes. The contestants introduce themselves before preparing the dishes. A special guest is called to judge the show. The participants have to tell the name of their dish to the audience and the chef asks questions regarding their dish, even before it is prepared which, he writes in his notes. Sometimes the chief guest tastes the dishes and asks questions regarding them. The questions also include random food facts, which the contestants have to answer correctly as these questions help in determining the winner. The contestants also give all the health facts and benefits of their dishes prepared. After the questionnaire, the special guest, along with the two hosts, and the main chef, tastes all the dishes. The main chef then decides the winner.

The second round comes with a time limit. The chef tells the rules to be followed before the starting of each round. The winning dish has to be best in presentation, taste, health, and the contestant’s knowledge of food is also taken into consideration. At the end of the second round, five minutes are given for the final touches to the dishes. After this, three participants are chosen for the third round. The top three contestants share their experiences. In the final episode, the top three contestants from every episode are present and the final competition takes up. The runner-up is announced first after which the winner is announced.
