Jeff Probst was born on November 4 in 1961, is an American reality show host and executive producer. He is well known as the Emmy Award-winning host of the reality TV show Survivor. Due to his work on Survivor, Probst has been called one of the best game show hosts in tv history. Probst was born in the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, his mother is Jerry, and his father is Barbara Probst; he grew up in Bellevue, Washington. In addition to Survivor, Probst as soon as hosted FX's original half-hour show dedicated to answering viewer letters, Backchat, together with Sound FX, a tuned series providing Orlando Jones (1996). Probst also hosted the VH1 collection Rock & Roll Jeopardy. He additionally wrote and directed the Lionsgate launched movie Finder's Fee.

He often contributes to Jeopardy! by giving Survivor-associated clues from the show's venue and has appeared twice on Celebrity Jeopardy. He has written a book known as Stranded, based on the show Survivor. He received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality award in 2009, 2010, and 2011. The Los Angeles Times attributed Probst's undefeated track record in the category to his penchant for interacting with contestants on a compassionate personal level unseen in any of his competitors, transcending his role of host to that of a counselor. He became a frequent visitor star at the cartoon show MADtv, a celeb guest starring once a season since the show's 9th season. He has said that he had worked tough to meet with collection author Mark Burnett; Probst had a guest appearance in a 2003 episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. 

On April 1, 2009, Probst appeared at the CBS reality tv special I Get That a Lot, wherein he labored at a cash register. In October 2011, he appeared at the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, in the episode "The Stinson Missile Crisis." Probst was introduced as director in 2012 in his 2nd feature film; coming-of-age story Kiss Me, starring John Corbett John Corbett is an American country music singer a >> Read More... and Sarah Bolger, with manufacturing scheduled to start in Los Angeles, California, the following month.
