Damian Lewis

Damian Lewis was born in St. John’s Wood in London on 11th February 1971. He is an Actor by profession and has also produced many movies. He acted in many TV series and is well-known for his role of Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Sergeant in the series, “Homeland”. His mother is Charlotte Mary, and his father is a City Insurance Broker, John Watcyn Lewis. His grandfather and grandmother worked for the Royal family.

Damian visited Ashdown House School and received his primary education from there and later attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated from there. Later in the Royal Shakespeare Company, he worked as an actor. From a very young age, Damian knew he would take acting as a career. He worked in Cymbeline and Pillars of the Community.

Damian is a promising artist with excellent acting skills. He debuted in 1997 with the flick, “ Robinson Crusoe Click to look into! >> Read More... ” where he portrayed as Patrick Conner. The story is about a sailor whose ship gets wrecked in a storm. He wakes up and sees himself stuck on an inhabitant island. He uses the tools and equipment he has to survive on the land and builds a house with the required facilities. He puts a lot of effort in forming a plan to escape from the island. During his stay there, he encounters wild animals and fights them to stay alive. He designs a boat with the help of bamboos, grasses, and branches and while he sets on sail, he notices the footprint of another man; probably he is not the only one on the island.

Damian appeared in the movie” The Baker” where he played as the lead character, Gareth, his brother ‘Gareth Lewis’ directed it. In the same year, Lewis decided to play the supporting role in “The Escapist”; the story centres around Perry, who receives life prison and had no hope to see the real world receives a letter after 14 years. The letter states that his daughter is dying since she is addicted to drugs and now he worries about her and wants to meet her. He formulates a plan to escape the prison but sooner realizes he has enemies, his new cell mate creates complications. He receives the news about his daughter’s death and changes his plans.
