Alana De La Garza

Alana De la Garza is an American actress who works predominantly in the English film industry.

Born on June 18, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio, to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother, she grew up in El Paso, Texas. She is a distant cousin of Renè Balcer, a TV writer and producer. She studied physical therapy and social work at the University of Texas. 

She won the 'Miss Photogenic' title at a local beauty paegant, 'Miss El Paso Teen USA.' She started her career in acting with the 2001 music video for 'Brooks and Dunn.'
