Allison Beth Adler was born on May 30, 1967. Allison Beth Adler is a television producer and writer. She is Canadian-American. She is well recognized for her work on Chuck and Family Guy, as well as co-creating Supergirl and The New Normal. Adler was born into a Jewish household in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her grandparents and father were Romanian Holocaust survivors. They later became citizens of the United States. In 1997, Adler began her career by working on the TV show Veronica's Closet. Adler produced around 13 episodes of the 1999 sitcom, Family Guy and around 16 episodes of the 1997 sitcom Just Shoot Me, as well as nine episodes of Still Standing as a supervising producer.

Life as We Know It which is a Romance/Comedy film out in 2010, Women of a Certain Age which was out in 2006, and Emily's Reasons Why Not which is a sitcom out in 2006 were among the series on which she worked as a co-executive producer. From 2007 until 2010, Adler served as co-executive and executive producer on Chuck. In May 2010, Adler joined the ABC sitcom No Ordinary Family, and in 2011, he became a member of the Glee writing staff, beginning with the third season. She also worked on a show named The New Normal but it was cancelled in May 2013.
