Priya Ramasubban is a well-known Indian-based Enlish producer, writer, and director. Having an experience of more than a decade in the field of direction and production, Priya completed her early Bachelor's degree in Economics Hons from Sophia Polytechnic in Mumbai. She completed her Master's degree in Social Communications and Media from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai. Priya also did MA in Film and Video from Georgia State University. Priya Ramasubban worked for media outlets for National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, and History Channel. She has been in different countries for shoots like Argentina, Zimbabwe, etc.
Her first TV series documentary has Treasure Seekers, in 2000 in the US. The history documentary starred Gavin Macfadyen, Valerie Hansen, and Charles Blackmore. Priya worked as a producer for two episodes of the TV documentary series, Digging for the Truth, 2006. In 2010, she worked as a producer and writer for a documentary TV series, Monster Fish. Starring Zeb Hogan and Tristan Guttridge, it was released in the English language in the US. Priya Ramasubban produced, directed, and wrote a documentary Divine Delinquents, released in November 2007. She also directed and wrote her first Indie featured film, Chuskit in Leh, Laddakh. The film starred Jigmet Dewa Lhamo, Morup Namgyal, and Sonam Angchok, released on 18 February 2019 in the US.
