She was well recognized for her role as Odessa in the TV show "Any Day Now.” Green has featured on Broadway in the original casts of Sweeney Todd and Candide in 1974. She has played Reverend Mother in “Nunsense” more than 1500 times. “Saving Grace,” “Home Improvement,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “NYPD Blue,” “Married... with Children”, “Anger Management,” “Melrose Place,” “The Drew Carey Show,” “Step by Step,” “Murder,” “Friends,” and others have all featured her as a guest star.
