Manav Bhushan

Manav Bhushan studied at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, for a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from 2005-08. He was the President of the Planning Forum, a current affairs society recognised by the U.N. from 2007-08. This society organised the first National Model U.N. Assembly held at St. Stephen's College. He was the Sub-Editor of Mathematica, the Mathematics Society journal, from 2006-07. He did an L.L.B. at the Faculty of Law, Delhi University, from 2013-16.

He studied for a Master's in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford from 2008-09, where he wrote a thesis on Simulating Quantum Processes using Category Theory. He did his PhD in Engineering Sciences at the University of Oxford from 2010-13 under the supervision of Dr. Mark Jenkinson, Dr. Julia Schnabel, and Sir Mike Brady. His thesis was titled Motion Correction and Parameter Estimation in DCE-MRI Sequences: Application to Colorectal Cancer.

He worked as a Junior Analyst at Merill Lynch, London, from June to August 2008, where he worked in the Structured Credits, Equity Flow Derivatives, and Interest Rate Derivatives groups. He worked as a Data Scientist at a start-up called Portentio, London, from January to June 2015, where he provided the best possible marketing strategies to U.S. film studios through social media data analysis and as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Ashoka University, Haryana, from January 2015 to January 2016, where he taught Analysis of Neurological Signals, Programming in C++ and Python, and Discrete Mathematics courses. He has been the Co-Founder, the Chief Technology Officer since January 2016, and the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) since October 2022 at Fourth Frontier in Bangalore, Karnataka.

He is also known for his work as a Writer and Actor in the T.V. Series Guilty Minds (2022), in which he played the role of Shubhendu Sarkar.
