He was bought up in Patiala, Chandigarh, and did his schooling from there and obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from IIT Delhi. After graduating, for over ten years, Amit was engaged with start-ups as well as a global organization in operations and business development roles. He was also a convener for the Executive Recruiters Association.
