Jetshen Dohna Lama was born on 27th April 2013. She was born in Pakyong district, Sikkim. She lives with her parents, Roshan Lama and Younis Hamal Lama. She has an elder sibling as well. Her passion for singing developed at a very young age after listening to the songs of the movie Frozen. She is more inclined towards performing rock music. She trained at Pakyong Music Institute by Nagen Chhetri, her music instructor. She also took training at Remanti Sangeetalaya Academy, Gangtok. Realizing her potential, she took part in the show Sikkim Idol, season 1 where she stood as a winner for that season in May 2021.
She later took part in SA RE GA MA PA Lil. Champs and got the nickname Mini Sunidhi Chauhan from

, one of the judges for the season. Her mother in one of the episodes mentioned, that she is a very shy and introverted kid who liked to stay alone but her passion for singing is what got her this far. She received a lot of support from the audience and her mentors which helped her win the season.
