Neerja Punia is an upcoming model, known as one of the contestants in the 19th Season of the hit reality show, MTV Roadies in 2023. She is the first trans woman contestant and was born in 2001 in Gurugram. She started modeling for various brands and is also a runaway model.  She represented India at Slay Model Search Asia, an international modeling contest, wholly dedicated to motivating aspiring transgender models.Â
When participating in Season 19 of MTV Roadies, she talked about the hardships of her identity and how her father was initially hesitant. She also shared that her father eventually accepted who she is and they had reconciled their differences. On the personal front, she is a pet lover and has a dog and two hamsters.  She also loves plants and keeps different varieties of plants in her home. She is also active on social media and posts regularly about her life events.Â
