Archana Atul Phadke is an Indian film director and producer who works predominantly on Hindi films. She is a National Award Winner. She is an alumna of the Berlinale Talent Campus and hails from Bombay. Archana Athul Phadke is known for directing the film, About Love in 2019. It took her almost four years to film, edit and complete the film. The movie About Love revolves around three generations of people living under the same roof in the Phadke building, Mumbai. The entire casts of the movie are from her family including her parents and grandparents. The story focuses on a wedding that is happening in the Phadke family and the excitement and tensions associated with it. The movie received the New Talent award for Best Film at the 2019 Sheffield New Doc Festival.
Before working on this movie, she edited the documentaries Placebo (2014) and Raghu Rai: An Unframed Portrait (2017). Archana has also directed the movies Sagar Setu (2009) and Placebo (2014).Â
