Rajesh Babbar, whose birth name is Rajesh Amarlal Babbar, stepped into Bollywood with the dream of becoming a Director. He started out as an Associate to many Directors. He also worked with Anil Kapoor in the film Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain. Rajesh Babbar debuted through a Bhojpuri film. He directed the Bhojpuri Movie Tohar Kiriya, in the year 2007. The movie had Ravi Kissen and Kunal Singh in the lead, and the music is by the duo Satish-Ajay. Tohar Kiriya means I swear by you, and the flick was produced by Deepak and Harish Punjabi. Rajesh Babbar after graduating joined Punjab University to study Indian Theatre. In the year 1994, Rajesh came down to Mumbai to try his luck in Bollywood.
