Sahil Dev

       Sahil Dev is a Director, Producer, and Film-maker. He is a Founder and Director at Dev Talkies, with a manifest history of working in the entertainment industry. In 2010, he took Humanities at “Lyallpur Khalsa College.” He completed a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at “Guru Nanak Dev University” from 2012 to 2014. 

Sahil Dev has professional solid skills in Web Series, Music Videos, Editing, Film Direction, and Documentaries. He is the Writer, Director of Photography (DOP), Co-Producer, Editor, and Director of the Punjabi web series “ Sleepless Nights It's hard to predict human behavior. They keep >> Read More... ” (2016 - 2017), under K-Kube Productions for the first time. He is also known for Re-Live (2017), Ikko Mikke (2020), and A Cab (2020). He has also worked in Ganesh Chaturthi, Dil Nai Lagda (Punjabi Music), Kamli, Chann Kithan Guzari Aayi, Beparwah (Punjabi Music), Wangari Dooriyan, and so more.

He worked as Executive Producer & Director (Bling Bling, Beparwah, Heartbeat, Ishq ho Gya, Leke Tera Hath Hath Me), Associate Director (Nashedi Dil, Ikko-Mikke), and Assistant Director (Ik Boli, Sikander) in Punjab, India. He was also featured as Chief Assistant Director (Pooja Kiven Aa, Needhi Singh), Assistant Choreographer (Jinhe Mera Dil Luteya, Taur Mittran Di, Mel Karade Rabba). He worked in “Lovely Professional University” in Punjab as Lecturer (Jan 2015 – Apr 2016). He taught the basics of Cameras, Lights, Sound, and TV Production. He worked as a Line Producer with “The Viral Fever (Mumbai Area)” and “Leader Productions (Agra, Uttar Pradesh)” in India.

He has been a Self-employed and decision-maker Director at Dev Talkies since Jan 2011. He is responsible for producing and directing the entire project, making content strategy, generating new ideas for series and films, creating short & long format content, ensuring high-quality story development. He managed all the pre-production works like script-writing, casting, auditions, workshops, etc. He worked in One-day workshops on film making from DAV University in Punjab, in October 2018. He has interpersonal skills in management, public speaking, teaching, team leadership, team motivation, and team building. He is also well familiar with tools and technologies like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, camera, final cut pro, Adobe premiere pro, and after-effects.
