He was born in Abbottabad, Pakistan in a middle-class family. He did his schooling from Beacon house School, Karachi, and later did his college studies at Lafayette College, United States. While studying in college, he developed his interests in 3D animations and visual effects. Later, he studied 3D Animation and Visual Effects at Vancouver Film School, Vancouver, Canada. He got married to Fauzia Uzair. Uzair Zaheer Khan was former Series director, Head of Production at Unicorn Black. He directed a TV series in 2013, named Burka Avenger. Burka Avenger was Pakistan’s first ever full length 3D animated series.

The lead role in the series, Jiya, greatly admires a super-heroine Burka Avenger, who wears Burka, unlike other superheroes to hide her identity. The Burka Avenger fights for justice, peace, and education to all. Burka Avenger fights with corrupt politicians and vengeful mercenaries who are trying to close down girls school. She uses ‘Takht Kabaddi,’ a martial art style that involves using pens and books as a weapon along with advanced acrobatic moves. She, with help of ‘Ashu,’’Immu,’ and ‘Mooli’ stops the evil magician ‘Baba Bandook’ and his henchmen. The show continued for 2 years i.e. from 2013-2015 and gained a lot of popularity. He founded this company in 2016. He said in an interview, “Making an animated movie is more expensive, and also it consumes too much human work.” The film released on February 2, 2018. The movie was written by Uzair Zaheer Khan himself. The story as about the mischievous boy who ends up dealing with circumstances he didn’t know was possible. The movie aimed to tell the audience about illegal hunting of wild animals.
