Achal Mishra is a filmmaker and photographer by profession. He was born and grew up in Darbhanga, Bihar. He completed his schooling at Genesis Global, Noida, and Dehli Public School, pinjore, and completed his college at Kings College of London. He is among the most skillful and determined filmmakers in the Indian film industry. He has excelled in three languages English, Hindi and Maithili He is a director at Achalchitra Private limited in Dardhanga. He has also worked as an intern Assistant director at Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures. He is known for the film Gamak Ghar (2019). Achal has written, directed, and produced the film Gamak Ghar, Dhuin. He worked as a second unit and assistant director in Talvar. Achal is the producer of Pokhar ke Dunu Paar, directed by Parth Saurabh, released in 2022. He is preparing to do something in Darbhanga with two other filmmakers from Darbhanga. They are aiming to do a compilation as a feature film.
