Vidya Thikari is a renowned makeup artist who works predominantly in the Bollywood entertainment industry. She is also a makeup educator. She was born in the city of Kolkata, located in West Bengal, India. Later her family moved to Papua Guinea. Her diverse cultural background inspired her to become a makeup artist. She has been passionate about her career in makeup since her early childhood days. She believes that anyone could add color to face but knowing when to and how to add those shades takes a skillful eye. Her experience as a makeup artist has been humbling and rewarding. She then went on to open her makeup studio academy. From professional makeup to sessions to hair and beauty services and training are provided. The team consists of committed enthusiasts that cater to the need of every hour. Vidya has been in the makeup industry for more than twenty-five years. She is not only a freelance artist but owns two studios where she trains people. She began her career in makeup in 1991.

Vidya has now grown to be a successful artist in the field of makeup. She worked in the “Commonwealth Games In 2010” and catered to more than 9000 performers. She was listed in the Limca Book of Records in 2011.
