" and in composing the track “Azadi.” His first solo album, “Vyuh", was released in 2013, the same year in which he made his debut in the Tamil industry with the song "Rab Di” from the film David. Apart from being a music producer, lyricist, and a rapper, he is also an exceptionally good writer.

In early 2016, he released his most controversial track called ‘Azadi’ which sampled a speech made by a JNU student-activist Kanhaiya Kumar. The track went viral and gained him attention from all over India. Dub Sharma hails from a Punjabi Family, where his father was a journalist.
