Rohit Rajbir Singh is the son of famous police officer Late Rajbir Singh, ACP Delhi Police, who was known more as an encounter specialist. Rohit Rajbir Singh is an IPS officer of the 2015 batch and AGMUT cadre. Inspired by his father, Rohit also aspired to join the police force and impact lives. Rohit mentioned in one of his interviews that his maternal side is mainly in the army, while his paternal side is in the police.
When Rohit was in 12th standard, his father died, leaving behind a bunch of burdens on Rohit. Rohit pursued engineering and started his preparations for becoming a police officer. In the third year of his college, his family situation stabilized. Soon after completing engineering, Rohit made the first attempt but could not reach the final round.
