Nitin Vaidya

Nitin Vaidya is a talented and well-known Producer. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Physics Science from the University of Mumbai. He has actively worked in the fields related to media: Journalist, Business leader and strategist. Nitin has also headed Hindi channels at Star. Nitin has also worked as a Special Correspondent for Maharashtra Times in New Delhi for seven years (1991 - 1997). Nitin was a head of Regional channels and as a Chief Operating Officer of National Channels at Zee. When Nitin was working with Zee, he proceeded with the release of the Marathi movie Saade Maade Teen, with the motive to set up a movie business. After that, he released nine Marathi films in a row, including De Dhakka, Dhudgus, and much more.

Nitin also directed one of the award-winning films, Natrang. Nitin is the one who was instrumental in the launch of the country's first regional channel Zee Marathi on 15 August 1999. He was the Business Head of this channel for six years. This channel instantly gained popularity. In 2005 Nitin became The Director of Regional Channels at Zee and headed Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Gujarati Channels. He led the launch of Zee Talkies, which is the only Marathi Movie Channel.

As time passed in 2008, Nitin became COO of Nation Channels of Zee Network. He got the full responsibility of Zee TV as its Business Head. In the year 2011, he joined Star India and there became the head of Hindi Channels. In 2012, Nitin launched Dashami Creations LLP. It produced eight daily fiction shows for Marathi Zee TV channels. Dashami made shows for Star, Colors, Zee TV, and Sony Entertainment. Then he released Dashami Studioz LLP to get into movie production.

On 2 June 2017, Dashami Studioz released its first movie Muramba which became a success at the box office. This movie was a Marathi movie, remade in Tamil, Hindi, Gujarati, and Telugu. Nitin has also produced several movies as well such as Chintoo (2012), Tuhya Dharma Konoha? (2013) and much more. Apart from Film Production Nitin, also loves to direct movies and analyze them.
