Saurabh Swamy

Saurabh Swamy, also known as Saurabh George Swamy, is an Indian screenplay writer and director working mainly in the Hindi, Viet, and Indonesian television and film industries. His journey in the Hindi industry began with the Mumbai-based company Synergy Communications. Saurabh has worked on well-known Indian shows such as Kaun Banega Crorepati (2006), Heartbeat, and Fame X (2006). He has also worked with the Mumbai-based media company Endemol Shine. Saurabh shifted to Indonesia in 2007 and worked as a creative director and screenplay writer for several television mini-series and serials. He was associated with several TV mini-series and series such as Melati Untuk Marvel (2008), Bayu Cinta Luna (2009), Andra Cari Cinta (2009), Sinar (2010), and Di Mana Melani (2010). Saurabh Swamy made his debut as a screenplay writer with the 2012 Indonesian television mini-series Saranghae, I Love You starring Tim Hwang, Eung Joo Kim, and Richard Kwon.

He was one of the writers of the 2016 Vietnamese movie Sút starring Ha Hien and Nhung Kate. Saurabh Swamy also wrote the story of two Indonesian TV series Putri Duyung Reborn (2017) and Janji Suci (2019). From 2012 to 2014, Saurabh Swamy wrote episodes for the Channel V Hindi television series The Buddy Project.
