Ankona Mukherjee is a singer and Indian TV persona residing in India. Hailing from a family of singers, her father and grandfather were eager for her to make a career in music as well. Her mom is also a singer. She rshot to fame after appearing in ason eleven of the Indian music reality show ‘Indian Idol,’ and ended as a finalist. In addition to Indian Idol, she has also appeared in the season 2 of the reality music show known as ‘The Voice Kid India’ when she was just twelve years old.
 Ankona was born on June 13, 2005 and raised in a musical Bengali  family in West Bengal, India.   She becme interested in music while still in school and wished to pursue it professionally. After completing her schooling, she did not attend a university as she wanted to focus more on music.
