Soumya Chakraborty

Soumya Chakraborty was born on 14 August 1990 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His mother’s name is Mrs. Prity Chakraborty. He completed his schooling at Indpur Goenka High School and graduated in Bengali Honors from Burdwan University. His parents were great musicians. His mother was his first guru. He had a routine of practicing 14 hours a day to master his skills in singing. 

Soumya started his singing career by winning the Zee Bangla show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2015’. That led him to be a part of All India Radio Akashvani 2, wherein he worked as a Music Artist. Then in  2018, he was a part of one of the most popular singing reality shows, Indian Idol season 10. He was into semi-classical and loved it. Apart from his professional life and favorites, he is also a good photographer and loves to click on moments and people. He called photography his second passion after singing. He has actively performed in various Bangla TV channels, and FM channels, and many more. He is seen to be very active on social media and posting different content on various platforms, including Facebook.
