Rushad Rana is a very popular actor who mainly acts in Hindi television serials and Hindi movies. Rushad always wanted to act and started off with theatres hitting the right cords. Rushad Rana hails from one of the notable Parsee family of Mumbai, Maharashtra and recently got and the couple was soon blessed with a baby boy. Rushad Rana is perhaps best remembered for his memorable acting performance in Star Plus’ s hit and successful drama produced by Balaji Telefilms playing the role of the main male protagonist Nikhil who is suave and ruthless and marries a girl with foul intentions and wants to destroy the life of his new wife completely. His portrayal of the character was appreciated and the audiences loved Rushad Rana for his acting skills and his onscreen charming and endearing personality. The show Kehta hai dil aired on Star Plus from the year 2002 to 2005. Owing to the popularity of the show and his character Rushad started getting offers of acting from big banner movie houses and soon took up some meaty roles and was seen powerful , strong and pivotal roles in Hindi movies like Dor, Tasveer 24/7, Veer Zara, Supersstar , and recently released, the critically acclaimed and award winning Gangoobai.
