Mansi Jhingran is an Indian professional actress and writer. She has worked in a lot of projects in the Hindi movie industry. She is best remembered for her performance in the films Udta Punjab Click to look into! >> Read More... , Ballad of Rustom and Joker which are all made in Hindi. Mansi Jhingran portrayed the role of a news anchor in the movies Udta Punjab and Joker. Mansi Jhingran did her college studies at Kirori Mal College which is located in New Delhi. She took English as her major in this degree of BA Hons in Literature. During this course, she was also part of the FAPS (Fine Arts & Photography Society) in her college. She then took up an acting degree at the prestigious Pravah Theatre Laboratory which is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Mansi Jhingran is fluent in Hindi and English.

Mansi Jhingran then joined Xavier Institute of Communications where she was a student of Film and TV Production department. In the year 2003, Mansi Jhingran entered the entertainment industry as an associate director. She was the assistant director of the show named Bhoomi, an environment and wildlife show which was aired on DD1 and it was also recorded for the Ministry of Environment and Forests for the Government of India. For this project, she worked for a year in Andheri in West Mumbai in the production company Cinema Vision India. Then in the year 2004, she was the assistant director and correspondent in Multimedia Communications in Mumbai for a show in Star One called Body and Soul which was a wellness and spirituality show.

Mansi Jhingran then tried her love for writing at the Outlook Traveller. She worked as their travel writer for about less than a year in 2005 in New Delhi. She was the writer of the content 101 Pilgrimages. She then became a member of the core committee at CMS for Vatavaran 2005, a wildlife and environment film festival at New Delhi. Mansi Jhingran became a producer for the first time for TV Today Network. She was the programming producer for Dilli Aaj Tak and Headlines Today in the year 2005 and worked there till the year 2007. She has also worked as an assistant director at Pulse Media in 2007. In the year 2008, she was the scriptwriter for a TV show 50 Movies To See Before You Die for the channel UTV World Movies and then the script and screenplay writer at NRAI till 2009. She has then worked as a writer, director, translator, producer, and spokesperson for many other companies.
