Priya Singh

Priya Singh Creighton is a Hindi television actress. Originally, she was an employee at a company but was never satisfied with her job. She kept quitting jobs for better prospects. Finally, she realized what she wanted to do and thus, entered the television industry. Priya had two dream jobs- RJ or actress. When she quit her last job, she was frustrated and thus sat and thought hard at what she wanted to do with her life. She finally, decided to follow her passion. She walked down the road to acting. The first job she was selected for was, Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein, on Life Ok. It is the story of a small town girl who gets entrapped in the dirty world of politics and gets manipulated by who she thought was the man of her dreams.

Her next employment was as, Amanpreet in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins for Star Plus. This show, in the backdrop of Jaipur, reveals a joint family and their ups and downs while living together. It shows the quarrels generated due to the generation gaps, the hopes and dreams of the family members and the transition of the young ones into adults. Priya has had two dream roles, one of which she has realized. By nature, Priya is a shy and quiet person, and she wanted to play a bubbly, easy-going girl, which was Amanpreet. Her other dream role is that of a “tapori”, which she has not had the fortune of materializing yet. Priya admits that her life in the television industry was filled with ups and downs.

She did not have any sources or any background in this particular field of work, which proved to be a great obstacle for her. But she persevered, and, in the end, managed to land some good roles. She says that this change in her work-life has taught her great patience and organization. At present, she is very happy with her life as she is doing her work on which she has a passion.
