Plot

The studious Lara joins the graduation course with lots of dreams. But, his dreams are shattered by his gangster senior. To control them, Lara has no option except to take the violent path. Meanwhile, a girl named Poorna crosses his life. When he moves closer with her, he comes to know that Poorna has some troubled past. What did Lara do to save Poorna from her dreadful past forms the rest of the story!

Star Performance

Tanish has improvised a lot and he had done his role to the best. He had emoted well and had done the action scenes well. Priya Singh had done justice to her role. She is very well balanced in the emotional scenes. Posani, Raghu and Parachuri Ravi had done what is expected from them.

Analysis

The script is neat. Although the director has brought the film well, the narration dips in some places. The romantic elements are missing and the emotional scenes needed a better grip in certain places. The BGM is impressive than the songs. Certain scenes seem to be artificial and doesn’t have any logic at all. The scenes between the protagonist and the antagonist should have been designed better.

No grip in certain scenes
Villain and hero combination scenes need little more intense dialogues or actions

Verdict

Rangu has a decent script and screenplay. Except for a few scenes, the film is worth watching once, definitely. If you get time at the weekend, you could try this film!
