Sourav Joshi

Sourav was born on 8 September 1999 in the Hamlet of Someshwar in the Uttarakhand district of Almora. Later, he relocated to Haldwani. Sourav studied in a government high school in Hisar, Haryana. He did Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Punjab Group Of Colleges. His father, Harinder Joshi is a carpenter. Sourav Joshi's content creation journey started with sharing his art and sketches on Facebook. He uploaded his first video on YouTube in July 2017. He gained fame with his 365-day challenge. He has been ranked on six by Indian Forbes in 2023. He began his journey by sharing self-made artwork that he had created. He began with his YouTube channel ‘Sourav Joshi Arts’ and later created his second channel ‘Sourav Joshi Vlogs.’

Sourav got recognized during the pandemic period when he began posting sketches and its instructions. He also posted vlogs in his hometown of Uttarakhand to showcase the serenity and natural beauty of where he grew up. Sourav started with Facebook in 2017, where he uploaded a time-lapse video of a colored pencil drawing, which garnered a positive response. In 2019, he launched a new YouTube channel, Sourav Joshi Vlogs’. He started Sourav Joshi Vlogs, a new YouTube channel, in 2019. The channel's introductory video was a tutorial called ‘How I Draw M.S. Dhoni’.

He became popular from the vlogs he uploaded during Covid-19 first wave. Since then, he has drawn a number of well-known individuals, including Tiger Shroff, M.S. Dhoni, Hrithik Roshan, and Virat Kohli. After enormous popularity, Saurav collaborated with other well-known YouTubers, such as Flying Beast. He made an appearance in the Bollywood song ‘Mauja’ music video in 2021. He had cameos in multiple music videos in 2022, including ‘Manzoor’ Nazar And ‘Bhai Mere Bhai.’ Sourav received the YouTube Silver Play Button for his channel ‘Sourav Joshi Arts’ 2018.
